Gangtok celebrates 201st Bhanu Jayanti

Presided over by Sikkim Minister for Cultural Affairs and Heritage G.M Gurung, who is also the Chairman of the Bhanu Jayanti Celebration Committee, the 201^st birth anniversary of poet Bhanu Bhakta was observed at Manan Bhawan, Gangtok, on Monday. Governor of Sikkim Shriniwas Patil was the chief guest, an IPR release saod.
Attended by noteworthy personality of Nepali literature Modnath Prashit, schools students and members of the Nepali Sahitya Parishad, the programme was a vibrant blend of  the cultural grandeur of Sikkim.(EOIC)
