Over 200 students from 20 schools in Siliguri and the Darjeeling
hills will contest in different events at the eighth edition of
"Confluence 2015," an inter-school competition to be organised by St
Michael's School in association with The Telegraph from tomorrow.
The two-day event featuring quiz, debate and spell bee competitions
will be organised at Savin Kingdom, an entertainment park at Dagapur on
the outskirts of the town.
"In total, 20 schools have confirmed their participation in the
contests. Of them, 13 schools are from Siliguri, while the remaining
seven are from outside areas, including the hills. We will have quiz
contests in three categories. This is the first time that we are having a
junior quiz contest for students of Classes V and VI," Robin
Chakravarti, the deputy director of St Michael's School, said today.(TT)
