Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) exam
The School Service Commissio n(SSC) is geared up to take more stringent preventive steps for upcoming Teachers’ Eligibility Test (TET) examination to make sure transparency and fairness in the examination.

It has been decided that, if cell phone or any other gadget is recovered from any candidate, his/her candidature will be cancelled immediately. The commission is mulling of installing jammer in few centres.  Janab Abdul Wahab, northern region chairman of School Service Commission informed this on Wednesday in Malda.

TET examination will be held on 16th August for the upper primary schools. For the convenience of candidates, all the exam centres has been selected in Sub Divisional towns. To ensure proper transport system, discussion has been carried out with all the eight district magistrates and police superintendents of northern region of SSC.

Admit cards have been issued to the aspiring candidates in internet; however, they need to bring 3 photocopies on the day of examination. Section 144 will be declared in the radius of 200 meters of the exam centre. For differently able candidates, 30 minutes of extra will be allowed.

Use of cell phones will be restricted not only for the candidates but also for the invigilators.
