Due to massive rainfall, landslide has occurred in one of the most well known places in Darjeeling town.
The slide which happened above Loreto Convent school besides the famous TUCK SHOP and BHOLA's ALU DOKAN... a cause of grave worry.
No one has been injured and all the passengers from the vehicle that tumbled have been retrieved safely
Clogged drain (nali) seems to have acted as a triggering point, as the
slide was likely caused due to massive rain water flowing into the side
as the main drain (nali) in the neighbourhood seems to have been blocked
for a while.(TDC)
