Finally Gorkha Janmukti Morcha became winner in three Municipality Election 2017, Darjeeling, Kalimpong, and Kurseong except Mirik, where the people expected victory of Harka bahadur Chhetri led Jana Andolan Party in Kalimpong. The Gorkha Janmukti Morcha has registered emphatic victory in Darjeeling Municipality by winning 31 of the 32 seats.
