A seminar was conducted on “Indo Japan Technical Interns Training
Programme” at the premises of Yakthung, at Amarpally, Darjeeling, today.
The seminar was sponsored by Yakthung in association with
‘International Skill Centre India, a unit of New Delhi Institute of
Management actively involved in skill development and placement
services.
The seminar was attended by a delegation of Japan which included Masaki Uchino, Yasumori Yahata, Noriko Nasukawa, Nikhil Singh, prominent personalities of the society and a large number of prospective candidates intending to find jobs in Japan. The seminar was presided by Capt Makar B Limbu, CEO & Managing Director of Yakthung Manpower and Security Services.
The delegates deliberated that Japan is in need of a large young workforce to replace aging work force in their country and to take care of the senior citizens, sick and ailing citizens and their trades/industries. Capt Makar B Limbu emphasised that North East Region of India is most suitable for Japan to meet their human resource requirements. (EOIC)
