STNM Hospital has referred former Chief Minister Mr. Nar Bahadur Bhandari to Delhi for treatment

Gangtok/Sikkim: STNM hospital has referred former Chief Minister also the president of Sikkim Pradesh Congress Committee Mr. Nar Bahadur Bhandari to Delhi for treatment as it is said that Mr. Bhandari is suffering from heart, orthopedic and cardiology problems. Mr. Bhandari was admitted in STNM
hospital since 10th August.Speaking to media Director cum Medical Superintendent STNM Mrs. Uma Pradhan informed that five member doctors monitoring team has recommended Mr. Bhandari to head towards Delhi for availing treatment, stating more Mrs. Pradhan said that Mr. Bhandari is stable currently but due to heart problems doctor’s team has recommended and referred Mr. Bhandari to Delhi.Furthermore Mrs. Pradhan mentioned that there is no intervention cardiology facility and super specialty facility in STNM hospital considering which doctors here at STNM has recommended Mr. Bhandari to head for Delhi for availing proper treatment.Regarding the issue acting president of SPCC Mr. K.N Lepcha said that court has also granted the order and the file for availing treatment of Mr. Bhandari is under process and added that Mr.
Bhandari may be taken to Delhi for treatment by tomorrow.
