The Indian Ex- Services League, Kalimpong Branch held its Annual General Meet (AGM) at the Ram Krishna Rang Manch today. Brig. NK Gurung was present as the chief guest, while 4 officers from the 27 Mt. Division were the guests of honour.After his welcome address, the Branch President, Col. DK Pradhan explained at length about the facilities and benefits meant for the families of the Ex- armies. He informed that if any Ex- armies are unable to collect their pension then they can authorize a particular person to do the needful. The bank and the League will go an verify at the Ex- army’s home about his condiction. The problems faced by the Ex- armies and their families were also discussed.One minute silence was observed remembering the member of the League who passed away. Also during the meeting those members who are above 80 years of age were felicitated.
