Cluny Women’s College Kalimpong addresses Bada Suruk village’s issues

15 students of the National Service Society (NSS) under the Cluny Women’s College Kalimpong toured Bada Suruk area today and took details of various matters of the area. The team was led by NSS President, Prof. Manoj Sharma, Coordinator, Prof. Dilu Darjee and teacher, Suresh Sharma. The team had also surveyed the area earlier after which they had prepared a report on drinking water issues. Based on the report, the team today distributed 4 quintals of polythene pipes and Sintex tank of 2000 ltrs capacity, to the locals of the area. The survey also highlighted that the area reels under road connectivity, electricity supply, primary health centres issues. The team also inspected the water reservoir of the village. The locals thanked the team for the items they received from them.
