Subba also notified that since more than 50 crores of funds is needed for the construction of the factory, thus, the construction work will be done in a phase manner.
In the first phase the machine meant to crush/ separate the husk will be installed. After this the production works will start. The crushed husk will be utilized to produce medicines and others. He opined that after the production of medicines the Cinchona industry shall flourish which will further profit the Cinchona business which is running under loss till now.
“People believe that Cinchona produces only anti malarial medicines, but for a fact medicines for heart patients can also be produced from Cinchona”, informed Subba.
“The day will be a historic one especially for the people of Cinchona estate. After the factory starts to function the estate labourers will also benefit”, said Subba.
